Paul Dyer would like to introduce Australian audiences to three electrifying young artists who have glanced around the corner and are seeking to define Baroque performance of the future. Two violinists and a singer. All three exceptional and gifted and all three sweeping the globe, captivating audiences with their passion for music.
One of these artists is violin prodigy Christian Li who, at just 11 years of age, has already won the Junior Prize at the prestigious Menuhin Competition in Geneva, and Annie Gard and Madison Nonoa are similarly making momentous musical waves across London, New York and Europe. These next-generation artists will ignite the Brandenburg stage as they perform a program of instrumental and vocal music by Bach, Handel and Vivaldi – all the Baroque greats – alongside the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra.
With spirited virtuosity, boundless youthful energy, brilliance and maturity, this concert will celebrate our next generation.
