Welcome back to the concert hall

Our return to City Recital Hall includes increased safety measures to help ensure the comfort and well being of our audiences, musicians and team. Before purchasing your tickets, please familiarise yourself with the information, procedures and guidance listed below, developed in conjunction with City Recital Hall.

  • The maximum number of attendees will be 75% of City Recital Hall's capacity (928 attendees)

Purchasing Tickets

  • Tickets are available for purchase online at Enquiries can be sent by email to The Brandenburg Box Office is currently working remotely and is receiving a large volume of phone calls and you may need to leave a message if you wish to speak to one of our staff. If so, please call 1300 782 856 and leave a detailed message and we will respond as soon as possible. 
  • All ticket buyers will receive an order confirmation of their purchase, listing their door and seat numbers. This order confirmation will be accepted as a ticket for entry. Ticket holders may either print their order confirmation or present the email on a phone or smart device for admittance on arrival at City Recital Hall.  
  • As required by NSW Health, we will be asking all ticket buyers to provide contact tracing details for each ticket holder in their party.

Attendance Guidance

  • Please do not attend a performance if you:
    • are feeling unwell
    • have experienced any symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 14 days
    • are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test
    • have been in contact with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19
    • have returned from overseas or a hotspot area
  • Please review our COVID-19 terms and conditions if you are no longer able to attend a performance due to these reasons. Please err on the side of caution when considering your attendance
  • Whilst at a performance:
    • City Recital Hall is asking all patrons who visit the venue to check in via a QR code before they enter to align with recent NSW Government regulations. Before you visit the venue, please download the Service NSW App to ensure your arrival at the venue is as smooth as possible: 

      If your device does not allow for QR code check in, you can still check in via the Service NSW App. If you are having trouble, or cannot use the app, please see a City Recital Hall staff member to sign in via an alternative method.

    • It is strongly recommended that you wear a face mask while at the venue - please bring your own or, if necessary, we can provide one on entry.
    • Practice social distancing and avoid close contact.
    • Practice good hand hygiene. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for 20 seconds.
    • Use hand sanitiser (including before and after eating); and cough or sneeze into your elbow or a tissue.
    • Where possible, use contactless payment methods at all transaction points with City Recital Hall.
    • Please read City Recital Hall's latest Health and Safety measures here prior to your attendance.

Venue Information - City Recital Hall

  • The Brandenburg ticketing desk will be in the foyer and will be open prior to the start of the performance.
  • Auditorium doors will be open from one hour prior to the start of the performance. 
  • The cloak room will be open with strictly limited capacity. Please refrain from bringing bulky items that require cloaking. 
  • Bars will be open from 90 minutes prior to the start of the performance.
  • Limited drinks and refreshments from a small menu will be available at the venue. 
  • Refreshments must be consumed while seated.
  • Hand sanitiser will be available at main entry points and throughout City Recital Hall.
  • High touch surfaces will be cleaned regularly by City Recital Hall staff, in addition to routine cleaning in adherence with current government recommendations.
  • Latecomers are advised that they will not be seated with their party and will be seated in an empty space at the back of the venue at the ushers discretion. 
  • If you or a member of your party appear to have flu-like symptoms, it is within the venue's rights to ask you to leave and we strongly encourage you and your party get tested.
